This year CityCenterDC is partnering with Children’s National Medical Center in their Make March Matter campaign to spread awareness and support children medical care. On both Friday, March 16 and Saturday, March 17, they will have the Children’s National bloodmobile onsite taking blood donations and many fun activities for children and adults to participate in, to show their support. Many of our CityCenterDC retailers will be participating in this great cause by donating a portion of their proceeds, from both days, to Children’s National. Shop at David Yurmankate spade new yorkMorgenthal FredericsVince and Zadig & Voltaire to show your support or feel free to stop by and participate in one of their events!

FRIDAY, MARCH 16

10AM-3PM: Children’s National Bloodmobile will be at The Park at CityCenter accepting blood donations. Click Here to make an appointment or call the blood donor center at 202.476.5437. All donors will receive complimentary sweet treats from Milk Bar. *while supplies last

10AM-7PM: Make a donation to Children’s National and compete in our One Hole Mini Golf challenge, in The Plaza at CityCenter, for the chance to win a prize!

 

SATURDAY, MARCH 17

11AM-12PM: DC Public Library will lead a story time in The Plaza at CityCenter full of books, songs, rhymes and fingerplays! Story time is a great way to introduce your child to language skills in a positive and fun, outdoor environment. This event is free and open to all. *weather permitting

2PM-4PM: ArtJamz will guide you through a DC Cherry Blossoms painting class in The Plaza at CityCenter. Tickets are free and first come, first serve but donations to Children’s National Make March Matter campaign are welcome. Click Here to sign up. *weather permitting

2PM-3PM: Burn calories for charity! FlyWheel Sports is offering a FlyBarre Charity Pulse class on Saturday, March 17, from 2pm-3pm. The class is $30 per person and all proceeds will go to Children’s National. Click Here, to register.
