The Mount Vernon Place United Methodist Church was founded in 1850, and is renown as the Methodist Episcopal Church in the South. This historial church was recently renovated in 2008, and continue to pursue their mission to serve the community, increase the faith of their members, and to become a part of God's effort to transform people, Washington DC, and the world at large.
