It’s never too early to get ready for change, so mark your calendar for the 2013 Building Energy Summit, taking place on Tuesday, March 26, 2013 at the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center(1300 Pennsylvania Avenue). The DowntownDC BID has once again partnered with CoR Advisors to provide a forum in which to educate building owners and managers on the various ways to reduce energy, cut costs and collaborate with others for maximum efficiency.

As the first Summit successfully did last year, the upcoming meeting will equip building owners and managers with the necessary tools to radically reduce energy consumption and costs. Attendees will walk away with a detailed roadmap for benchmarking buildings, monitoring real time energy usage, analyzing operational data, making efficient upgrades and changes, and integrating the latest technologies to significantly cut energy consumption.

This 2nd annual meeting will also feature keynote representations by industry leaders and energy experts, educational breakout sessions, case study presentations, and networking opportunities.

The 2013 Building Energy Summit will further assist the DowntownDC BID ecoDistrict as it supports the Department of Energy’s Better Buildings Challenge (BBC) and the DC Smarter Business Challenge to dramatically reduce energy consumption citywide. More information is available at the Summit website.
