Come one, come all to the DowntownDC BID and National Building Museum (401 F Street) mini-golf ball! Well, it’s not really a ball, but we want you to have one. Here’s the deal: we’ve partnered with the Museum; Hill Country (410 7th Street), the Texas-style BBQ people; the Capitol Riverfront BID; and the Mount Vernon Triangle Community Improvement District (CID) to present a joint Neighborhood Day, Tuesday, June 18. Our DowntownDC BID area neighborhood friends—namely, workers and residents—will be able to enjoy indoor miniature golf all day during regular Museum hours at a reduced price of $3. Plus, in an exclusive experience only open to our neighborhood friends, you can continue to play a round after hours, up ‘til 9 p.m. Just use the special code phrase: ’embrace the experience,’ for the discount.  Admission will be on a first come, first served basis. Guests should use the 5th Street door for entry after 5:30 p.m. And note: Hill Country will operate its Hill Country Backyard Barbecue on the Museum’s West Lawn (5th and F streets) featuring live music by Memphis 59. So, chow down and enjoy the evening!

Also, in case you didn’t know, on May 27, the Museum brought back its popular indoor Mini Golf exhibit, featuring two 9-hole course options, with all new holes designed and built by leading Washington-area architects, landscape architects, and contractors.  The course is designed for ages 4 and up and will be available through Labor Day, Monday, September 2.
