The DowntownDC Business Improvement District (BID) released a new edition of its popular visitor map featuring DowntownDC destinations and signature events.

This free map is exclusive to the DowntownDC BID and is distributed 362 days a year by our red and black uniformed corps of Safety/Hospitality and Maintenance (SAM) Ambassadors to residents, workers and guests on the streets of DowntownDC. The map can also be found in select hotels, museums and other high-traffic hotspots in the BID.

The multipage fold-out is the DowntownDC visitor’s go-to guide for directions, landmarks, cultural and entertainment attractions. In addition to pedestrian map details, the BID visitor map provides a map of the complete Metrorail system.

The latest edition of the visitor map map features recurring seasonal events in the BID, including our DowntownDC Live Thursday lunchtime concert series in Franklin Park, the National Cherry Blossom Festival, our DowntownDC Holiday Market, the four seasonal farmers’ markets that operate in DowntownDC and more.

The latest edition of the map also features eight DowntownDC destinations in an advertising section: Clydes’s, The Hamilton, Old Ebbitt Grill, Dirty Habit, Farmers & Distillers, Penn Commons, the Newseum and the Ronald Reagan Building & International Trade Center. The BID prints and updates its visitor maps every other year.

All current advertisers will receive maps to distribute to their guests and visitors.
