April 8, 2018

Farmers market season has arrived in DowntownDC! Bring the farm to your table and get fresh produce, dairy, prepared foods, alcohol, coffee and more in DowntownDC as four weekly producer-only farmers markets open for the 2018 season. The FRESHFARM White House and Penn Quarter markets each open for the season on April 5. Both markets will feature many local vendors including Capitol Kettle Corn, Evensong Farm, King Mushrooms and Zeke’s Coffee. At the White House market, prepared food options will abound from Bun’d Up handmade buns, Cowbell Kitchen, Pinch gourmet Chinese dumplings and The Red Zebra.

Don’t have time to shop? FRESHFARM offers customers the option of a weekly curated bag of produce and other local goods through the FRESHFARM Share program. Share subscribers pickup their pre-selected items during market hours. The Penn Quarter and CityCenterDC markets are participating locations this year.
