WMATA is once again offering commemorative fare cards that feature President Barack Obama’s photo and a message which states, “Barack Obama: America Makes History Again.” The special One-Day Pass is available online for $15. The reusable plastic card is pre-loaded and offers unlimited Metrorail travel on the day it is first used. Valued at $14, it can be used on any date. On Monday, January 21st, Inauguration Day, the commemorative card also can be used for free Metrobus travel. Once used, the One-Day Pass can be reloaded just like a regular SmarTrip® card.
