Time to mark those calendars! The 2014 Building Energy Summit will convene on Tuesday, April 1, 2014, at the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center (1300 Pennsylvania Avenue). It’s no joke.

The DowntownDC BID and CoR Advisors have partnered for the third consecutive year to provide a national forum in which to educate building owners and managers on the various ways to reduce energy, cut costs and collaborate with others for maximum efficiency.

Take action. Sign up. This year’s conference focus: integrating new technologies into energy management.

Among the meeting highlights:

  • Keynote presentations by nationally renowned speakers
  • Case study presentations of the most energy efficient buildings
  • 15 educational sessions in four different tracks
  • Multiple networking events
  • Resource Pavilion with best in class solution and technology providers

As the previous conferences did, the 2014 Building Energy Summit will further assist the DowntownDC BID ecoDistrict as it supports the U.S. Department of Energy’s Better Buildings Challenge (BBC) and the DC Smarter Business Challenge to dramatically reduce energy consumption citywide. More information, including this year’s featured speakers and panelists, is available at the Summit website.
