New DowntownDC BID Board Members

The DowntownDC BID has seven new Board of Directors members for fiscal year 2013. Three were appointed at the BID’s first quarterly Board meeting of the new fiscal year, attended by DC Mayor Vincent C. Gray. They are Ann Chisholm, District of Columbia government relations officer, Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA); William G. Dowd, acting regional commissioner, Public Buildings Service, U.S. General Services Administration, NCR; and Ed Baten, general manager, W Hotel.

Chisholm and Dowd will serve a one-year term ending on September 30, 2013. Baten’s three-year term will end on September 30, 2015. All filled previous vacancies and began serving immediately, although they are subject to election by the membership at the June 2013 annual meeting. At the June 2012 annual meeting, the membership elected several individuals who officially began serving on October 1st. They are Gus Di Millo, partner, Passion Food Group; Mary Riner, external relations, Basis Charter School; Paige T. Dunn, regional director of sales and marketing, Kimpton Hotels Mid-Atlantic & Southeast; and Brandon Ernst, executive senior vice president, Lincoln Property Company.
