New Visitors and Bus Shelter Maps

The DowntownDC BID updated and redesigned two critical guides for visitors looking to embrace the Downtown experience without getting lost—the DowntownDC BID Visitors Map and more than 80 bus shelter maps. We think you’ll like them. Both brightly colored guides feature a street map of Greater Downtown, including the 138-block DowntownDC BID area. The Visitors Maps will be available in November, while the bus shelter maps are now being installed by Clear Channel Adshel. DC Circulator routes once prominently featured on both maps were deleted this year because of pending and more frequent route changes underway, but some points of interest—such as attractions, landmarks, hotels, and Capital Bikeshare kiosks—were updated. Also new this year: a small advertising section inside the Visitors Map. It features a few Downtown restaurants, hotels and cultural institutions. The latter two will receive the maps to distribute to their guests and visitors. Businesses interested in obtaining multiple and bulk copies should contact Ebony Walton at 202.661.7593 or contact@downtowndc.org. Bon voyage!
