Last month, we provided the bottom 20 of BISNOW’s Top 40 Power Restaurants. Following the publisher’s multi-week countdown, we now know which Downtown restaurants helped fill out the Top 20. They are:

• Charlie Palmer Steak House (101 Constitution Avenue), #6
• The Capital Grille (601 Pennsylvania Ave), #9
• Central Michel Richard (1001 Pennsylvania Avenue), #10
• Georgia Brown’s (950 15th Street), #12
• Occidental Grill & Seafood (1475 Pennsylvania Avenue), #16
• Old Ebbitt Grill (675 15th Street), #18
• 701 Restaurant & Bar (701 Pennsylvania Avenue), #19
In related news: a few Downtown restaurants made the Washington Post Magazine’s Fall 2011 Dining Guide. Food critic Tom Sietsema picked the restaurants, featured in the October 16 magazine, which he fantasizes about developing steady relationships with. The restaurants were rated based primarily on food quality, although service and ambiance also were taken into account. Included in this year’s guide are Graffiato (707 6th Street); Jaleo (480 7th Street); and Rasika (633 D Street).
