Love to chow down? Then Restaurant Week is for you. It’s a time to experience great meals at affordable prices from Monday, Aug. 19 through Sunday, Aug. 25. More than 200 restaurants in the Metropolitan Washington area, including about 60 in the Downtown, will participate.

The one-week food affair is an opportunity to indulge in delectable dishes at notable restaurants both old—such as Georgia Brown’s (950 15th Street) and new—think MXDC (600 14th Street). During Restaurant Week, participating establishments will serve three-course prix fixe lunch ($20.13), dinner ($35.13), or both, excluding tax, gratuity, and beverages.

The Restaurant Association of Metropolitan Washington (RAMW) sponsors this much-anticipated, bi-annual event, normally held in January and August. For more information visit the RAMW website.
