Each year, the Downtown DC Business Improvement District (BID) publishes the State of Downtown Report to highlight the BID area’s growth and economic trends, and how it relates to the larger DC and regional economies. Our goal is to provide the best information available on the Downtown economy to BID members, property owners, commercial tenants, developers, investors and policymakers. The data contained in this report demonstrates clearly Downtown’s well-documented economic and cultural renaissance, which serve as indicators of the area’s vibrancy and experience, to re-establish Downtown as the heart of the city and the region.

On Thursday, June 12, 2008, we will release the 2007 State of Downtown Report in a public forum at the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center (1300 Pennsylvania Avenue, NW) from 8:15 to 10 am. This event is being held in conjunction with the US General Services Administration as part of a weeklong series of events celebrating the 10th anniversary of the Ronald Reagan Building. Please hold this date on your calendar. Invitations and further details will follow.
