Film aficionados will absolutely love the 7th Annual DC Shorts Film Festival, which celebrates short films from around the corner and across the globe. Multiple screenings at Landmark’s E Street Cinema (555 11th Street) and the US Navy Memorial (701 Pennsylvania Avenue) will take place from Thursday, September 9 through Thursday, September 16.
Delight in 97 cinematic wonders—lasting one minute to 24 minutes—in nine rotating showcases. Enjoy 12 foreign films and cap this year’s weeklong festival with the popular “Best of DC Shorts” screenings on Thursday, September 16, where jury award winners and audience favorites will be shown. More entertainment, in the way of get-togethers, will feature a celebrity party at Madame Tussauds (1025 F Street) on Thursday, September 9 and a grand bash on the US Navy Memorial Plaza on Friday, September 10.
