Craving some mouthwatering, lip-smacking chow at affordable prices? Sink your teeth into Restaurant Week, which returns Monday, August 24 through Sunday, August 30. More than 50 Downtown establishments will join this summer’s dining extravaganza.

So don’t let the recession keep your taste buds on house arrest. Indulge in this bi-annual event and experience great cuisine at reduced prices. Participating restaurants will once again offer a three-course fixed-price lunch for $20.09 or a three-course fixed-price dinner for $35.09, or both, excluding the tax, gratuity and beverages.

The Restaurant Association Metropolitan Washington and Destination DC sponsor the event, which is a great time to try newly opened hotspots, award-winning picks or old neighborhood favorites. Miss this luxury and you’ll have to wait until January for the next one!
