It’s time to chow down again! The DowntownDC Business Improvement District (BID) stopped by Boss Shepherd’s (513 13th Street) during lunch for the second installment of our ChowtownDC restaurant video series (#chowtowndc).

There’s more than meets the eye at Boss Shepherd’s, located in the Warner Theatre building, steps from Freedom Plaza. Classic southern fare is on the menu at Boss Shepherd’s, which has its own whiskey bar featuring more than 100 whiskeys.

The DowntownDC BID sampled a variety of dishes, including burrata salad, North Carolina fisherman’s stew and their most popular dish, fried chicken. Watch the video feature to find out what dish takes 12 hours to prepare!

DowntownDC is a dining destination. From world-class restaurants and fine dining, to the hottest street food takeout, DowntownDC offers a variety of cuisines at every price point.

The video of Boss Shepherd’s is the second episode of ChowtownDC, a new video series by the DowntownDC BID offering viewers an inside look at some of DowntownDC’s most popular places to eat.
