Watch the Final World Cup Game at the Smithsonian!

Two Downtown Smithsonian museums are opening their doors July 13 for the final World Cup game to host a free, official viewing party open to the public!!

The National Portrait Gallery and the American Art Museum (located at 8th and F streets NW) together with the Embassy of Germany are setting up a 21-foot LED video wall in the museums’ enclosed and air-conditioned Robert and Arlene Kogod Courtyard for Sunday’s 3pm Argentina vs. Germany game. Attendees will be able to purchase food and beverages from the museums’ Courtyard Cafe. Fans are encouraged to dress to support their team of choice. 

The party has been approved by FIFA and ESPN and is supported by the Smithsonian Office of Facilities Engineering and Operations. Additional support has been provided by the Embassy of Argentina, the DowntownDC BID and D.C. United.
