Winter Restaurant Week kicks off Monday in DowntownDC

If you’ve been meaning to try Todd English’s new Mexican eatery, MXDC, the upstairs restaurant at ramen hot-spot Daikaya, or just want to sample some of the best dishes from your favorite DowntownDC spots, next week is your chance as Winter Restaurant Week kicks off in Washington, D.C.

From Jan. 13-19, you can treat yourself to a three-course meal at a discounted price at any of 59 participating DowntownDC restaurants including: Daikaya Izakaya (705 6th Street); Del Campo (777 I Street); MXDC (600 14th Street); NoPa Kitchen + Bar (800 F Street); and Woodward Table (1426 H Street). The prix-fixe lunch of three courses costs $20.14 and the prix-fixe three-course dinner is $35.14 at all participating restaurants.

Menu options include local mushroom empanadas with smoked black truffle alioli at Del Campo, certified Angus strip steak at Woodward Table and mole de costilla at MXDC.

More than 200 restaurants city-wide are participating in the week-long winter event, part of the popular bi-annual Metropolitan Washington Restaurant Week, held in both winter and summer, hosted by the Restaurant Association Metropolitan Washington (RAMW).
