If you stuffed yourself to capacity over the holidays, get ready to do it all over again during Washington, DC Restaurant Week, returning on Monday, January 9, and offering a week of amazing food and great value through Sunday, January 15. About 60 Downtown restaurants will participate—more than last year!

The one-week food extravaganza offers diners the chance to devour oodles of yummy dishes from some of the area’s most notable and fine new restaurants at affordable prices. During Restaurant Week, participating establishments will serve three-course prix fixe lunch ($20.12) or dinner ($35.12), or both, excluding tax, gratuity and beverages.

But expect some variations of these features. Siroc (915 15th Street), for example, will be offering a four-course menu. Downtown newcomers such as Elisir (427 11th Street), Graffiato (707 6th Street) and Lincoln Restaurant (110 Vermont Avenue) will join the food fest for the first time. Finemondo (1319 F Street), a long-time Downtown restaurant, already has announced plans to extend the week through Tuesday, January 31.

Destination DC (901 7th Street) and the Restaurant Association of Metropolitan Washington (RAMW) sponsor this much-anticipated, bi-annual event, normally held in January and August. All we can say is bon appetite!
