Located in front of the Smithsonian American Art Museum (SAAM) and National Portrait Gallery on F Street between 7th and 9th streets, this outdoor bazaar has grown to include nearly 200 local artisans and exhibitors as well as vendors offering delicious comfort foods. Exhibitors rotate over the duration of the three-week marketplace so that visitors never have the same experience twice. The excitement also includes live entertainment, ranging from jazz, blues and swing to klezmer, hip-hop and a cappella. The Market is accessible by Metrorail, Metrobus and Capital Bikeshare, which has stations located on site.
