There’s always something magical to encounter at the DowntownDC Holiday Market, but new this year, visitors can learn about the museums that call DowntownDC home, shop for local creations via Made in DC and snap a holiday pic in front of the new, JOY photo-op.

Visitors can support District creatives and their local businesses at the new Made in DC booth, in partnership with the DC Department of Small and Local Business Development. There, you can purchase  delicious snacks from Oh-Mazing Granola (Dec. 10-12), treat yourself to bath and beauty products at Hunny Bunny (Dec. 17-19) and find giftable grooming products at Black Oak Grooming Company (Dec. 20-23) and more. Eleven vendors will rotate throughout the duration of the market.

Pose for a festive photo with friends and family at the new JOY photo station in the heart of the market, in front of the entrance to the Smithsonian American Art Museum. Share with us why you love the DowntownDC Holiday Market with the hashtag #MyMarketMemories and you could win BID swag!

Throughout the duration of the market, participating museums will rotate daily at the DowntownDC BID’s information booth, providing guests with details on upcoming exhibits and events. Stop by to learn more about the International Spy Museum, National Building Museum, National Portrait Gallery, Newseum, DC History Center, National Law Enforcement Museum, National Archives Museum, Planet Word and the Smithsonian American Art Museum.

There are over 160 vendors rotating daily throughout the market, making for a unique experience every visit. Shop for crafts at Printemps Pottery, apparel at De*Nada Design and giftable confections at Chouquette.

Satisfy your cravings by grabbing a sweet bite at Migue’s Mini Donuts and sipping on Vigilante Coffee while you watch free, live musical performances. Stop by this Saturday, Dec. 8, to enjoy a live performance from Howard University’s renowned jazz choirs and Afro Blue.

Located on F Street NW between 7th and 9th streets, the market operates daily from 12-8pm rain, snow or shine through Dec. 23. You can find the DowntownDC Holiday Market event guide detailing the complete vendor and daily entertainment schedule in printed copies of the Washington City Paper, online at washingtoncitypaper.com or downtowndcholidaymarket.com.
