They’re back! For the second straight summer, select food trucks have returned to the Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial Library (901 G Street) to indulge in Books & Bite, a lunchtime destination that includes grabbing chow from the food trucks, chilling at special outdoor seating under the overhang, and using the library’s free WiFi to download music, search online databases and the catalog or connect with the library on social media. Check it out on Wednesdays, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., through Labor Day, September 2. The food trucks are members of the Food Truck Association of Metropolitan Washington, a collaborative group of food truck owner-operators. To determine if your favorite will be present on a particular Wednesday, check the association’s website, Twitter or Facebook accounts.
