Jumpstart your weekend with fun and free activities in Chinatown Park (5th and Mass Ave). The DowntownDC BID presents the Chinatown Block Party with Words Beats & Life every Friday, 5 – 8pm, from July 12 to August 16.
Attendees can enjoy live performances while exploring their creative side with a host of free activities including graffiti art, DJing, double dutch, lawn games, and a dance workshop or drumming activity.
The Chinatown Block Party is part of the Discover Chinatown Parks programming series supported jointly by the DowntownDC BID, the Mount Vernon Triangle Community Improvement District (MVTCID) and the Mayor’s Office on Asian and Pacific Islander Affairs (MOAPIA). Program partners include Words Beats & Life, Inc., the National Park Service, the DC Department of Parks and Recreation, and the DC Public Library.
