The DowntownDC BID’s colorful new pickup truck and van have hit the streets. Used by our Safety/Hospitality and Maintenance (SAM) team to transport equipment, tools and supervisors, the vehicles are part of the BID’s capital asset improvements.
The white vehicles are branded with the bright DowntownDC BID logo with its lively, bold and curvy arrows, thus representing the constant movement and energy associated with the SAM’s work. Everyone can find pertinent information—about SAM services, their office number, and the BID’s website (www.downtowndc.org) and Twitter account (@DowntownDCBID) displayed on the back of the vehicles.
Downtown SAMs deliver a high level of services—from cleaning streets and sideways to providing directions—that property owners, commercial tenants, workers, residents, and visitors have all come to expect. When you see them ride by, make their day—wave!
