The DowntownDC Business Improvement District (BID) recently went behind the scenes at Wolfgang Puck’s DowntownDC restaurant The Source (575 Pennsylvania Avenue NW) where the BID learned about one aromatic delicacy that cooks for 20 hours: soup broth.
Executive Chef Scott Drewno makes a special soup broth for his new interactive dining experience now offered at the recently-revamped restaurant’s new four-person hotpot table. “I’ve wanted to do wonton soup for a long time, so we decided to bring it to The Source,” Drewno said. The hot pot experience puts diners at a chef table with Drewno, who guides guests through a tasting menu.
