The DowntownDC Business Improvement District (BID) experienced a real-life dessert explosion at Toro Toro Pan Latin steakhouse (1300 I Street NW) in the form of their dramatic La Bomba masterpiece.
Don’t be caught off guard as your server drops a chocolate bomb in the middle of your table, letting loose an explosion of sorbets, ice creams, edible flowers, chocolate cookie crumbles and douses it all in a spray of vanilla bean creme anglaise and caramel.
The La Bomba is one of many unique culinary experiences you can have at Toro Toro, by Chef Richard Sandoval, including their daily jaw-dropping lunch or weekend brunch spread featuring a hot and cold buffet. Smoked guacamole, plantains, empanadas, rodizio and smoked meats, house made chorizo and more are included in their rotating buffet menu.
