Shopping, music, art and festivities will once again make their appearance in DowntownDC when the 11th Annual Downtown Holiday Market returns to the sidewalks along the Smithsonian American Art Museum and Smithsonian National Portrait Gallery on Friday, Nov. 27 at 12 p.m.

Shoppers will find over 150 artisans, crafters and small businesses on display in this outdoor marketplace from unique art pieces to homemade crafts, stylish clothes to gorgeous jewelry. This year, you can peruse collages from local artist Michele Banks, unique leather goods from Stitch & Rivet or indulge in sweet treats from The Capital Candy Jar. An alternating lineup of vendors means visitors will find something different each time they visit. Warm treats and coffee will also be available.

Shoppers will be treated to fun musical performances each day, including folk group Big Lunch, hip hop artist Christylez Bacon and jazz duo Les Deux.

The market will be located on F Street between 7th and 9th streets NW and will operate daily from 12pm to 8pm from Nov. 27 through Dec. 23.

The market, presented by the DowntownDC Business Improvement District and operated by Diverse Markets Management, will warm your spirit with holiday cheer and unique gifts.

So stop by on your lunch break, bring your friends on the weekend or plan a date night to come and support small businesses while enjoying all that DowntownDC has to offer.
