“MEAN GIRLS” is returning to The National, where it premiered, after its success on Broadway. This hit musical features a creative team led by Tina Fey (book), Jeff Richmond (music), Nell Benjamin (lyrics), and Casey Nicholaw (direction and choreography). The story follows Cady Heron, who, after moving from Africa to suburban Illinois, becomes entangled with a trio of popular girls led by the manipulative Regina George. As Cady plots to take down Regina, she discovers the perils of challenging the social hierarchy.
