Step into a powerful journey of identity, resilience, and imagination as we commemorate 50 years of Southeast Asian American stories. Through curated film screenings and dynamic panel conversations, this special feature program invites you to reflect on the past, honor the present, and envision bold futures shaped by community and culture.

Co-presented by the Smithsonian Asian Pacific American Center (APAC) and AARP, with support from trusted community partners, this event showcases the diverse narratives that have emerged from war, migration, survival, and celebration. Join us in exploring how Southeast Asian American communities continue to shape the American landscape through art, memory, and collective reimagination.

This program complements Sightlines: Chinatown and Beyond, an exhibition presented by the Smithsonian Asian Pacific American Center.
