Gallery Space at Gallery PlaceGallery Space at Gallery Place is a Community Retail Complex with Cultural Arts & Entertainment Experiences anchored by Creative, Strategic Placemaking in the Heart of Chinatown, Downtown, DC.
Gallery Space was first introduced during the inaugural Gallery Place Chinatown Task Force meeting held in February 2024. The consensus in the room of real estate professionals, city officials, key activators and neighboring downtown organizations was to come up with a strategic plan that can easily be executed without delay. Through the legacy work of Suite Nation & the newly formed Activations Committee, a targeted focus was placed on ways to enliven the Downtown corridor via Pop Ups in vacant retail storefronts.
Gallery Space at Gallery Place presents a tangible example of ideas and concepts shared over the past few months, executed in real time, with the hopes of replicating this scope of work, city wide.
