The DowntownDC Business Improvement District (BID) works daily to support its members– property owners and residents within the BID’s 138-square block area– as well the larger community of DowntownDC and its workers and guests. We connect our members to helpful resources and information, provide ambassador services, serve as connections to city agencies and other local and federal partners, beautify and maintain public space and host DowntownDC events. Get more details below.
Who is a Member?
Property owners within the BID boundaries are members. Additionally, residents are formally included as BID members in 2018, which will enable the BID to directly support residents, expand services and amenities and make targeted investments in public space and parks aimed at directly improving the DowntownDC living experience.
Property Managers
Property managers remain integral partners for the BID. Managers can sign up for alerts, join the Safety Alliance Council or request a lobby fair using the links provided. Additionally, property managers can call Dispatch, at 202-624-1550, to report broken pavers or request gum busting services and inquire about other ambassador services. Check out our public space page for some additional resources.
