DowntownDC BID Celebrates Hispanic Heritage Month with a Dynamic Lineup of Events

As Hispanic Heritage Month unfolds from September 15 to October 15, the DowntownDC BID is showcasing an array of events that highlight the rich contributions of Hispanic and Latino communities in the area.

Gerren Price, President and CEO of the DowntownDC BID, expressed enthusiasm, stating, “We are delighted to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month and to honor the vibrant Latino communities that enrich our downtown area. From the lively Fiesta DC to the engaging cultural experiences throughout the month, there’s something for everyone to enjoy and appreciate.”

From the much-anticipated Fiesta DC Festival-promising a celebratory attempt to break the Guinness World Record for the largest pupusa-to Hispanic Heritage Month festival events at the National Portrait Gallery, all are encouraged to join in the celebrations and experience the diverse and dynamic cultural offerings that Downtown D.C. has to offer this Hispanic Heritage Month.
