Food lovers rejoice. The Metropolitan Cooking & Entertainment Show makes it way back to the Walter E. Washington Convention Center (801 Mount Vernon Place) on Saturday, November 3 and Sunday, November 4. This two-day culinary experience is bound to please palates and inspire innovative food doings—from preparing delicacies to presenting them.
Wear comfortable shoes because this event features hundreds of exhibitors, cooking demos, tastings, workshops, book signings, and appearances by Food Network celebrities such as Giada De Laurentiis. This is your chance to pick up recipes, sample both food and beverages and walk away feeling satisfied and stuffed.
Advance general admission tickets are $24.50—$12.50 for children—and include access to the exhibit floor, cooking stage and tasting and entertainment workshops. Separate tickets are required for the Celebrity Theater, VIP events and celebrity book signings. A $99, two-day pass includes meet-ups with all participating celebrities.
