Successfully ending homelessness requires collaborative local, regional and national partnerships because no one entity can tackle this pervasive problem alone. This report shows how homeless individuals and the community at large benefit when all parties work together. The paper spells out new partnerships undertaken by the Downtown BID since its first homeless paper was published in 2008 and features statistical information about DCís homeless population, an overview of DC government efforts to end homelessness, a map showing homeless services and facilities in the Downtown BID area, as well as other facts, data and profiles.
